Do I take my breast pump with me?

I have my c-section coming up on the 17th and I have no idea how to use my breast pump. Should I bring it with me so that I can ask a lactation consultant how to use it? Have any of you ladies done that? I know I shouldn't over-pack. But I don't have a support system, friends, or family to teach me these things. I'm a single momma so it's gonna be just me and baby!

Usually you shouldn’t pump till day 4-5 when your milk comes in. Not sure how long you expect to stay in

I would take it! Your LC’s can teach you how to use it and make sure you are using the appropriate flange size?

You should be able to google how to use it or YouTube . Some people have videos on Instagram on how to use it too. 
Two of my friends say I should bring mine but I don’t really want to.

The hospital has one for you to use. I didn’t bring mine and was fine. To me it’s just more stuff ya have to haul home.

I would bring it! I'm a second time momma and I'm bringing mine for my csection on Friday because I feel like the first time around I didn't know how to use it & that's why my breastfeeding/pumping journey was short lived. 😊
