The WORST induction!!! 5 days so far, 6 tomorrow!

My experience has been shocking!!!!

Came in on the 27th October (Wednesday)….

started the induction at 5pm that day!

Everything was running smooth until Saturday morning! A midwife came in to check my cervix to see if she could break my waters or if I needed the balloon, she took me off the balloon list and said my cervix was ready enough for my waters to be broken,

Basically went down this morning (1st November) to delivery for them to tell me my waters weren’t able to be broken because I was only 1cm 👍🏼 so they put the balloon in at 10am this morning and said this should have been done Saturday morning had the midwife not taken me off the balloon list!!!!!

I’m 2 days back now. The midwife that said she could break my waters obviously was just pushing my body to the extreme and that’s what my midwife on the ward said, if they tried to break them this morning being only 1 they would’ve damaged my cervix. So the midwife that took me off the ballon list and put me onto breaking my waters list fucked up big time. I’m currently waiting 24 hours with this ballon in now and if it doesn’t work by 10am tomorrow morning they have to c-section me.

What a shitty experience so far. But for now I’m staying calm, getting my boy here safe and when I’m healthy and well enough shit will hit the fan and I’m going full whack at the NHS!!!
