Breastfeeding
This will hopefully be my third and final baby. I’d really like to Breastfeed this one. My first two girls wouldn’t latch and I tried a bunch of things from 10 different nurses including a lactation nurse. Nipple shields I believe is what they’re called and nothing worked. I was able to nurse my youngest for maybe a week but she also had issues with latching due to a tongue tie that wasn’t caught right away. I think they also had issues with latching because I was also VERY big in the chest. I was a 32 K in bras when I had them. So I was huge. I had a breast reduction in 2019 tho so I’m much smaller now. I REALLY want to be prepared this time for breastfeeding and am looking for all advice and tips possible. I want that connection with my baby. I want to breastfeed but I also don’t want to be overly stressed about it and make baby stressed as well. 🤦🏼♀️
Also since my breast reduction I don’t have much feeling in my nipples except for pain. Like I can’t have the shower hit my nipples directly otherwise they hurt. So I’m really nervous that breastfeeding is going to be extremely painful.
