Does anyone else have a quiet baby?

My baby doesn’t laugh more than a few times a week (and it’s more of a strained cough than a laugh) and hasn’t babbled once. I’m a little concerned so I’m wondering if others have a quiet baby too.

I see why this could be concerning. Does he smile at you when you interact with him? Does he turn when you call his name? He should be about 8 or 9 months now right ? Definitely bring this up to your pediatrician. I’m going to post an image in a bit with some milestones he should be hitting at this age
