Holiday invite issues?

Want some opinions! So my Mother in law and I don’t really get along she don’t like me and I ignore her rude bullshit so we are suppose to act cordial. She is suppose to host thanksgiving at her house and my husband is going to double check if I can go…. Okay..  But if I can’t he and our boys are still going to go. Which I find disrespectful because I wouldn’t attend anything if my husband wasn’t invited!! But his mom is allowed here no questions asked!!!

That must hurt. I’d speak to him about that for sure. Let him hear himself and see if roles were reversed how he’d feel. In regards to MIL, maybe you can extend an olive branch at some point. It sucks to have conflicts like this… especially long term, thats no good for anyone.
Maybe with your history with her that’s a tall order, but at the least, you need to know your husband has your back. I hope it works out for you!

When y’all got married you became 1 and if my husband isn’t welcomed then I’m not going and you shouldn’t have to be alone because of it I think you all have some talking to do before the holiday comes

The best move in your husband’s part would be to stand up for you and let MIL know that if you’re not invited neither him or the kids will be attending. It would be extremely rude to not invite you, but this seems to be a non-issue as she hasn’t said you weren’t invited.

Nope. Not okay. Your nuclear family is now your husband and kids. If you are not invited, nobody should be leaving you alone. If you aren’t invited, he should be very upset, as well.
