For those who conceived naturally over 35: How long did it take?

I just turned 39 and have decided to start trying. All of my tests and labs look good for my age, no medical reason I should have a hard time other than age. So I’m curious what your experiences were and appreciate any and all advice!

So with my second pregnancy I was 36. I got pregnant on my second cycle. I’m currently 38 and we decided in the summer time to try for our third. I had a chemical pregnancy in June and Then got pregnant end of July however miscarried in august at 7 weeks. I just got a BFP yesterday.  Hopefully this one sticks.  Good luck on your journey!

I’m 36 and still trying to conceive my first. I have been trying for 15 months. My blood work is fine. Gynecologist says everything looks fine for my age. Next is an HSG. Good luck!! 🍀

20yrs ago I had my first daughter 1/2001 age 23. I got married in 2018 and started to try, was having trouble spoke with the doctor tried 2 rounds of IVF then Covid hit 🥺 had to stop treatments (lockdown) spoke to friends of people who use essential oils suggested using 3 oils from Young Living Ppluse, cleary sage, and endoflex 20 drops each in a roller bottle with a carrier oil like coconut oil. I put it on my belly and my pulse points inner ankles, wrists and behind my ears 2xs a day for a month. I was pregnant the next month. I hope this helps. Also with essential oils there is no side effects

Actually took me 2 years to get pregnant (not an option on there). Started when I was 37 and sought help after 6 months. They made us try for a year then accepted us to ivf. Ivf gave me polyps, then I was on a list for them to be removed. Then covid happened. Then right before my surgery 6 months later I got naturally pregnant. MC’d at 12 weeks then had to go back on the list for polyp removal. Roll around now to 3 years and I’m 40 and pregnant at 12 weeks. Here’s hoping  this one is okay 🤞

I am 40 with a 4 month old.  I got pregnant at 39.  I had my IUD removed Sept 2019 and got pregnant November 2020 but honestly we didn't try too hard during that time.  (Not tracking ovulation and making sure to have sex that day or anything like that)  The day I got pregnant I was 100% confident i was ovulating.

I've got 5 kiddos & 10+1 with #6. The older 4 where conceived in my early to mid 20s. My 5th was conceived at 36 and in the same cycle I stopped taking birth control (didn't expect it to happen so quickly). I had a chemical pregnancy in May & had only been trying for 2 cycles. Fell pregnant this time round on my 2nd cycle. All conceived naturally with no assistance.

I'm 37 now and am currently 32 weeks with baby #2 (Also 37 when I conceived my 2nd). We only used ovulation predictor kits for one cycle and got pregnant right away. With my first, it took over a year of TTC as well as 2 cycles of IUI with fertility meds and I was 34. Go figure 🤷🏾‍♀️
