DIY teacher gifts

Teachers this year have it HARD. My husband works at a combined elementary/middle school, roughly 115 staff members. I wanted to do something nice for them for Thanksgiving and maybe something before Christmas break as well, but I don't have multiple hundreds to spend.

I was thinking chocolate dipped spoons and hot chocolate packets of some kind. I really liked the idea of doing hot chocolate jars with the cocoa powder, marshmallows, and peppermints. But it's looking like the jars alone run about $1 a piece and that's before any of the ingredients.

Does anyone have any creative ideas for something I could do for the teachers at my husbands school for around $1 or less each?
