Hey ladies, need advice please on timing intercourse got best chances.

Hi there ladies,

My fiancé and are trying to conceive and I just finished my first round of 50mg Clomid for 5 days on day 7 of my cycle (11/10/21). We had intercourse last night but it had been almost 2 weeks since the last time since I’ve been under the weather for quite some time. I started testing for ovulation this morning and already got my “Peak” smiley.

I know we are supposed to wait 36-48 hrs after intercourse to optimize our chances but I also feel like we’d be missing our opportunity by doing so. I’m 36 and he’s 31. Any advice would be great.
