Active Baby? 17 weeks?

Question

Went to my 17w appt today.... made the mistake of drinking a huge glass of orange juice and this litte girl would not stop moving around... could barely get a heartrate on her cause she kept moving. Freaking scared the crap outta me, so much that i came home and found her on my doppler and listened for like 5 mins. Wont be making thay mistake again.... has this ever happened to anyone else? Was it really the orange juice that made her super active?

omg this happened to me at my 12 week scan i drank 1/2 a gatorade baby was moving and flipping so much he couldnt give me proper measurements 🤣🤣🤣🤣 now im 17 weeks and waiting for my scan next week

Also, Orange juice is good for you and the baby. It has good vitamins and nutrients in it. If you were drinking tons of sugary soda thats noy very nutritious or caffeine I think youd have more reason for concern. Caffeine for sure is something to avoid when you can because large amounts daily is harmful to baby! Dont stress about juice! All is well mama!

Its ok that shes moving alot! At my 12 week they could barely get a clear pic cause my baby boy was just dancing all over the place! Moving is good! In your second trimester you will have a glucose test to make sure you dont have gestational diabetes. They have you drink a small bottle of sugary liquid and my tech told me to not be surprised if baby boy started movin like crazy after I drank it. Sure enough 20 minutes later he was kickin me like he was at soccer practice! It couldve been the sugar, it couldve been just an active day for her. Dont panic!!

My baby boy always moved away from the doppler. It's totally normal. He also hates ultrasounds lol
