5 months PP and got my period EBF!?

Question

Has anyone else gotten their period back 5 months PP while EBF? I haven’t noticed a dip in my supply yet but I am so worried about my milk and don’t understand how my period came back so soon? Am I stressing for no reason?

Hey, you are lucky you didn't get it for that long! Mine came back only a month after my postpartum bleeding stopped, I was exclusively breastfeeding , my supply was never affected, my daughter is 17 months now and I'm still breastfeeding! So there is nothing to worry about :)

Some women simply have their periods return while breastfeeding. Not unheard of.

It is all good! I got my period 44 days after having my daughter and was EBF too! My supply never dipped. She has nursed like a champ and still does at almost 9 months old. Continue to drink plenty of water and eat good and all will be fine. Don’t stress it!
