Sperm testing UK has anyone gone in with partner?

Hi ladies,
After 10 month TTC doctors have advised my partner to get tested before I can have the hsg. Bloods and ultrasound all fine.
This is being done at the hospital and I am going with him as he would prefer this I’m nervous he’s not going to be able to do it due to nerves.
Have any of you gone in with your partners and what was it like?

I went through the same procedure with my husband, first test was the seminal analysis. He had an appointment with the nurse in the GP practise where she explained how it would all work and gave him the cup. He provided his sample at home around 25 minutes before the appointment time, I kept the cup against my skin to keep it near body temp and we rushed off to the hospital. We were only on the room for about 5 minutes, the guy took the sample and went through a door then a few minutes later he came back out and said ‘looks good’ then we went home lol the nurse phoned a few days later and told him more in-depth results about quantity, mobility etc. Perhaps we were able to do it at home because we were so close to the hospital? Hopefully all goes well and your partner is able to reach the finish line, it’s definitely not the easiest thing but compared to what we women go through with fertility testing/treatments, pregnancy then birth and all that follows, it should be a breeze.
