Does anyone elses partner not want to have sex with them whilst they're pregnant?

My partner said he doesn't want to have sex with me because our son is "right there" and he finds it weird.
Completely fair enough, I'm not going to force anyone to have sex with me or anything like that or say how he feels or his opinion is wrong, just wondered if it's just my partner or anyone elses?

Not mine, for both pregnancies. He still wants to be at it like bunnies lol.

I think some basic education about where the baby is and where the penis goes would alleviate this problem (like the baby is in a muscular sack protected by your cervix). His penis isn’t going to be able to come close to the baby. I think this is a common concern amongst men but once they’re told where the baby is the fear should subside. If it doesn’t, it’s probably something else.

He was okay with having sex with me now and then early on when he could ignore the fact that I was pregnant, but we only had sex like 3 times throughout my pregnancy. He feels uncomfortable with the baby being inside of me when he’s putting his penis in the same vicinity.

My husband was the same exact way. But in his defense when I was 32 weeks pregnant with our first we were in the spooning position during sex and my husbands hand was on my stomach…. Well my son kicked him. Kinda ruined sex during pregnancy for us both but especially him!

I get it. My husband is sometimes the same, especially the bigger I get. It’s not that he’s attracted or loves me less, it’s just strange for him. Perhaps you can try other ways to be intimate.

My ex was like this with our daughter but my new husband is amazing and our sex life hasn’t changed but I did wonder if this is because he is a Doctor and amazing about everything or more understanding. 
I haven’t had much luck with exes haha 😂 they were idiots. My ex literally told me I was so fat he couldn’t get hard. Funny thing is I wasn’t 😁

I can understand it, although I am happy & grateful my partner doesn’t feel this way.

More like the other way around 🤪 and not because of baby being there but because I have no desire. Oh the joys. 
But I feel like this is completely normal response and of course there’s plenty of other things you can do to be intimate. On the plus side it’s not forever, y’all get back into the swing of things after baby I’m sure.
