Overthinking it or nah?

So my boyfriend before we moved in together would always tell me he loves me with blonde hair and blah blah blah. Now that we’ve lived together for months now he one day randomly tells me I should dye my hair black because he thinks black would look good on me, no biggie I like hearing his thoughts but THEN we were driving like the next day and there was a crowd of ppl crossing the road and they all had dark hair so I very obviously joking said “If I dye my hair black I’ll just blend in haha” and he got serious and said “Ya because it looks better.” Like he was so serious abt it and it seems so weird that out of no where he wants me to go dark? 🤨 I’ve had dark hair before and it wasn’t a big deal but suddenly it is now?? What do you girls think lol
