When losing your mucus plug, how many days does it come out?

I’m 39w+5d. My OB did a sweep and stretched my cervix Wednesday morning. I had my bloody show for a few hours after with mucus. By that night, I definitely lost A LOT of brown mucus plug. Enough where I was feeling actual contractions, cramps, and pelvic pressure.

Thursday (yesterday), I had more mucus plug come out, but it lightened up by mid day and I barely had much discharge after that.

Friday (today), I’m starting to lose more mucus plug.

I was wondering, how long does it come out for? 😅
