When should I test?

Hi! New here ☺️ I have a regular 27/28 day cycle. Last cycle started on the 1st of Nov, with ovulation day 13/14 November (tested and everything). 
Sealed the deal on 9th, 11th, 13th.
As far as symptoms - some cramping, some sore breasts. 
AF should come on the 28th or so.
Today I tested negative - when is the right time to test?
(We both got checked and we are all right health wise)
This is also our 1st time trying.

pregnancy tests are most accurate if you wait until at least 14dpo or your missed period. early result tests can be used as soon as 8-10dpo but it's unlikely to get a positive that early. 
you're at most 8dpo today if you ovulated the 13th, so I'd wait a few days before testing again.

Implantation is btw 6-12dpo so testing before your period isn’t suggested. You can still get a negative at 14dpo if hcg isnt present on 12dpo
