Living room mural a la Bob Ross
So, I have a giant wall in my living room that needs to split up. I've never lived in a place with a living room so large. I currently can for a loveseat, chaise couch, coffee table, accent chairs, wall to wall bookshelves, my dogs crate, and a crafting station which is a small armoire and a bookshelf. AND its decently spread out. I have room for more furniture if I wanted but I like the current balance.
(Pardon the mess this is an old pic from when we moved in. There is still a whole living rooms worth of space to the right and behind me. Its honestly like having 2 living rooms smooshed together)

The giant wall has my crafting station and my chaise couch on the same wall. I had a silky idea of maybe making a landscape mural on that wall (but I think i would do it in a more stylized, foggy silhouette kinda way, but not too simple). I paint regularly and have even been paid for murals back in high school. Here is the latest thing I'm painting (its not even halfway through... its my family home where we used to go for Christmas tractor rides. I'm making an advent calendar for my Oma). Apologies for it being such a mess were in the "throw paint on and don't fret the details" part of painting. Needed to get the color on the trees since it'll be smudged in fog once the details are in.

Anyway, we now live in a place that has a lot of plains. I've always grown up in the mountains and woods, so being in this area is having me miss my trees. I finally thought, thats the solution, something to split up the living room AND bring in the trees.
I dont know if ill just make a whole wall mural or if I want to paint a faux window.
