Did you have this while pregnant?

I’m 38 weeks along and I’ve had a hemorrhoid since 32 weeks. It will get irritated every once in a while because I’m on iron supplements and it makes it harder to go. I eat well and try to drink as much water as I can but when I go to the bathroom recently, I will hear drops and look into the toilet and I’ll see bright red blood as if I started my period. I know it’s not coming from my vagina but my hemorrhoid isn’t irritated whatsoever so it’s not coming from that but it’s still coming from my anus. I brought it up to my doctor and she said it’s normal because of the pressure baby is putting down there since he’s dropped. I’m just still confused.

Has anyone else had this happen?
