Who got who sick? Possible covid.

So my sister and I took a trip to Utah on the 26th of October and came back on the 1st of November. We got sick two days after with what we suspect was the flu. Fever, sore throat, runny nose, body aches, headache, and fatigue. We stayed away from my mother and my mother stayed away from us and no one else in the house got sick.

About a week after my sister and I got better my mother got sick. She thought it was a result of her chemo treatment and didn’t bother distancing herself from everyone within the household… well soon after everyone in the household got sick, including my sister and I. Fatigue, headache, body aches, persistent cough, nasal congestion, sore throat, vomiting, stomach ache, complete loss of smell and taste. We are all still sick and it’s lasting much longer than the first time my sister and I were sick. I’m getting tested for covid on Friday.

Well the reason I’m asking is because my mom is blaming us and saying we brought covid back from our trip (we don’t know if it’s covid yet). She didn’t even want my sister to shower because she’d “contaminate” the bathroom even though we’re all sick anyway. Everyone. And she’s the worst out of all 5 of us. She was in and out of the doctors the week she got sick and even her husband thinks that’s where it came from. I’m just tired of my mom blaming things on us. She blames everything on us and got mad at my sister and I for being sick because she couldn’t use the room we were staying in. She finds any reason to get mad at us.

Edit: yes, I admit that it is petty, but it’s just really frustrating when our mom does this. She has always gotten mad at me for being sick, even as a child. And she’s like this with just about everything else. Blames us for everything she can.
