No, my husband says men and women can't be friends!

He has a few but they were all around before me and they never were romantically involved. Also, they never disrespect me or my household (ie no calling super late or flirting etc). But I would never be okay with him making NEW friends of the opposite sex.

He only has 2 female friends . One he grew up with and she’s more of a sister to him and the other one is married to his best friend and her and I talk more then they do . He says I love you to the first one who’s like his sister and the other day he asked me if it was weird to hear him say that and I said no not to her . Someone else probably 😂.

My partner doesn’t currently have any actual friends who are girls. He has some coworkers who are women that he talks to sometimes, but doesn’t hang out with outside of work. She has asked us to go out in a double date with we, so we’ll see if that happens. I would not have a single problem with him having a friend who was a woman though.
