2.5 year old Extrovert

So my 2.5 year old is an extreme Extrovert. This is the problem at home. He is constantly on repeat. If he feels he is being ignored he will just get louder if you ask him to stop its a melt down. I'm trying to help him with his emotions with this as gently as possible. We want him to feel heard also we need him to realize this behavior is undesirable. He is so smart but preschool here won't start till the fall for him so we need another solution. We have him have scheduled play dates weekly and try to do as many stimulating activities as possible. At home though he just turns into a broken record and none stop yelling till someone is giving him validation on what he is just pointing out.

We also have a 8 month old

This Extrovert Mama is at a loss how to help him regulate as my parents didn't do well with me and I don't want to break his spirit.
