My boyfriend has a kid.

So me and my current boyfriend has known each other for 3 years and have been officially officially together for 6 months. We met in college when I was 18 and he was 20. We were talking and messing around back then and was both very young and immature. Back in 2019 my parents even caught us being inappropriate in my home and was not very fond of him. Both my parents know we are now dating and my mom even encourages him to come around after the awkward incident and encourages my dad to get over it. The issue is…he has a 1 year old kid. This is not an issue to me as we were not together before, when, or after the kid was conceived…we weren’t even in contact with each other and he was/is not in any type of relationship with the mother so he was doing him and I was doing me. When I found out it was shocking but again..we weren’t together. I am now 21 and he is 23 an we have such a great and solid actual relationship now and he has matured so much and I love him and I love being with him and we intend on having a future together so I feel like I need to tell my parents about his child soon but I just don’t know how and I know they are going to be completely unreasonable…I still live in their household and I don’t want this to ruin my relationship with them or the relationship with my boyfriend, he really is a good guy.
