His life is on pause...

I've been having challenges with the university for a while now, preventing me from not completing my degree. Now, my boyfriend is ready to marry me but he does not want to distract me from my school work. I know he loves me and that is why he decided to wait on me but, I think I am preventing him from achieving his goal of marrying me at this moment. Each time we talk about marriage, I feel so guilty because he has to wait on me. I appreciate the fact that he is waiting on me but I don't want to be the one to put his life on pause. Sigh!
