Always sick?

Anyone else’s infant always sick? My 6mo has been in daycare since he was 2.5 months old… I’m not exaggerating when I say he has been sick for the last 3 months. First it was diarrhea for 3 weeks, then a cough for a week, then RSV with pneumonia and an ear infection and now he’s back to having persistent diarrhea. Each time the pediatrician has just said to “let it run its course” but it’s absolutely exhausting to have one illness right after another. I’m starting to think something is seriously wrong with him and it’s not just “normal daycare germs.” Has anyone else experienced this? How did you cope?

Sad to say but your pediatrician is right. Young children are very prone to getting sick and can tend to get sick multiple times a month up to toddler ages, children in daycare even more so than those not in daycare. 
I know it's frustrating and hard to deal with something constantly being wrong and the little one being constantly uncomfortable but the best thing we can do as mommas is just try to comfort them as much as possible while it runs its course.

Yep! Our 7 month old is always sick, or it feels that way. 
Unfortunately your pediatrician is right. Your doing all the right things! It sucks. But you aren’t alone. Baby will be ok :) it’s so hard though.

Same. My daughter has been perpetually sick since we started daycare in August when she was 3 months. She’s 7 months now.
