Ovarian cyst or ectopic?

Hello!! I’m posting again…

On Friday 12/10 I started to bleed, it started out pink then over a few hours went red. No clots and only showed when I wiped. I went into the doctor Saturday and the OB told me she could do blood work but worried that I may be miscarrying. Sunday I just couldn’t take seeing the blood so I went to the ER, they did a vaginal ultrasound and didn’t see a sac or anything but they did confirm I have a cyst. They are worried this may be a possible ectopic pregnancy. Right now I have light cramping (pregnancy like that comes and goes) and still bleeding but hasn’t got heavier. My stomach feels sore but doesn’t hurt. I saw the OB yesterday 12/13 and she didn’t give me much answers other than we will repeat HCG over the next 2 days. Has anyone experienced this and it not be an ectopic? Or does it sound like this is most definitely ectopic?

My HCG at the hospital was 920, and I know it has to be 1500 or higher to see a sac
