SCH any insight?

I just had my early ultrasound at 6 weeks because of spotting and previous miscarriage. I was for sure this was another miscarriage. But they said I had an SCH that may be where the spotting is coming from. Heart beat was seen at 107 beats a minute and a yolk sac. Does anyone know anything about SCH. I googled it and they said it was rare?  I am so anxious that this pregnancy will end in a miscarriage again and I don’t know I to stop it.

Most of them resolve before the second trimester. I had some bleeding as well in my last pregnancy and it resolved itself pretty early!

Yes I had one in my first pregnancy. I had heavy bleeding at 6 weeks and by the 20 week scan my SCH had absorbed and gone. My son is an almost 2 year old now. They are more common than people realise and far more likely to result in a healthy baby than a miscarriage. I know it’s hard but do try not to worry. Rest, take it easy and trust your body will reabsorb the SCH and keep your baby safe.
