Working while traveling over the holidays

So I will be traveling to a few different places to visit family over the next 3 weeks. I work from home, so I’ll be bringing my laptop with me, as my boss so generously did not approve ANY of my vacation time. Please note I am in software development, so it’s not a customer service industry where hours are based on external clients and such.

Anyway, I’m bringing my hotspot, and my laptop. I have worked from the car or airport before, no problem. But my boss recently has this thing where he likes to turn our daily 30 minute zoom meeting into a all day long chat. Where he asks everyone to “stay present, but mute” so we are all available for questions. Like is that not what slack is for? Along with this, he accidentally posted our number on the customer support side of the website, so we have been getting random calls about customers billing issues, which is totally not the job of software development but he wants us to answer them and handle them, the last few weeks it’s been 15-20 calls a day, over stuff that’s not my job.

With all of this I’m just super stressed about traveling and still working. If it was just my 30 minute meeting and then I could focus on my laptop and get my tasks done it would be fine. But now that I have to worry about him keeping the meeting going for HOURS and getting random calls from the customer support line I just know I will be overwhelmed.

Please also note that I am salary and my job is primarily project based, I do have set hours to log on, but if I get my tasks done then I typically just stay available in slack if anyone needs me. However, with this phone issue and with the endless meeting I feel already over my head.

Yes he does know that I will be traveling during this time and approved for me to work outside my home office. And no I’m not cancelling my trip, I’ve spent way too much money on this and haven’t seen my family in over a year.

Any advice?
