Hi, I was wondering if anyone had pots on here and could talk to me about it, currently waiting on doctors to help me but I would like to hear people’s personal perspectives:)

I got diagnosed a year ago almost. I went to the walkin clinic w a heart rate of 180. Not long after i did a tilt test and got a heart monitor for a month. After that i got put on Nadodol (30mg a day its a beta blocker). Ive been better on medication but i have my days. Everyone is kinda different and everyday is different. I highly recommend drinking a lot of propel and liquid iv. If you feel light headed lay down flat. Be open to the people closes to you so they are able to help out in hard times. Dont over do it on a good day it might not leave energy for the next day. Of course spend a good day living a good life but some days im also paying for it. I started taking cooler showers, drinking a whole bottle of water before i get out of bed in the morning, i wear leggings or skinny jeans to help compress my legs more. I found that i cant really stand swimming or roller costers but everyone is different!! Just take it step by step. If you ever need anyone to talk to fee free to message :)

I don't have a lot of perspective. My brother's girlfriend just got diagnosed. She had a tidy table test and she coded at one point. So scary! I know her pulse is always relatively high and she does pass out a lot, especially in the shower. I believe the doctors said there's really no treatment they can give her. 😩❤️
