When to call the midwife?

I haven’t had a first appointment because they won’t see me until 10 weeks. I’ve been having what I think is round ligament pain for a few hours since I woke up this morning and my back has also been sore. Should I call and ask if this is normal? I’m not having cramping in my uterus as far as I can tell. Just hurts on the right side along my stomach and my my hips.

You’re not early for round ligament pains. I got them early in the first trimester, none in the second, and they’ve shown up here at the end of the third again. Totally normal, lots of hormone changes that affect the laxity of your ligaments, its not just about baby’s weight

Your body is stretching and adjusting... sounds normal. How far along are you? I also had my first appt at 10 weeks

You're way to early for round ligament pain. That's for when your uterus is big enough to need held up, once you start showing. It's probably just your hips adjusting and growing but it's normal
