Beautiful colostrum! And that’s a great amount! Good job! Store in the fridge. It can be in the fridge for up to 4 days. Transport in a cooler with ice packs. Make sure to label date and time pumped.

Yeah I pumped for like 20 mins today and finally got something out.! So I’m about to pump again so I can take more than the 4 syringes I have up to the hospital and yes nicu life is so new to me and I’m so sad cause it’s like I’m home and they their.. it’s like I didn’t just have them.. I’m just ready for them to be home with me and their brother

No problem! Night pumped milk has more melatonin in it so it’s best to use that milk for night feeds! That’s why time pumped is important. Make sure you pump on a regular schedule. I was told every 3 hours for no less than 15 mins around the clock. Bring them everything you pump. They will send home any extra at discharge. Eat plenty and drink lots of water! Stay strong! Nicu life is no joke.
