Exclusive Pumping Anyone?

Question

FTM here! We are at 30 weeks and can’t believe our due date of March 3 is just around the corner!
Anyone else planning to or have experience with exclusively pumping? Any tips or advice to share? What to expect starting off? 
Trying to hear some positive insight compared to the negativity and questioning I’ve been seeing.

I exclusively pumped with my two kids. I liked it. Just make sure you’re pumping every 3 hours to keep your supply up. Only thing that sucked was in the middle of the night I still had to get up and pump even if baby was sleeping, and if baby was awake then I had to feed them and also pump which took longer. But overall I enjoyed the fact that other people could feed baby and I wasn’t the only one stuck doing it all the time

I exclusively pumped for a year with my first. 
It was hard in the beginning when feeding schedule was less predictable—to pump enough to feed baby while supply was building.  That middle of the night session is crucial. I would get twice as much around 2-4am as I would any other time of day.  Don’t feel bad if you need to supplement in the beginning. I supplemented with formula for a few weeks until I could make enough milk to stay ahead of baby’s eating.  The 7-8 sessions per day won’t last forever! By the time my son was 3 months, I was down to 5 sessions.. then soon after dropped to 4 during the day only and was still producing the same amount.  
I started washing parts once a day and just putting them in a Tupperware or ziploc bag in the fridge in between sessions to save some time.
I used the babybuddha pump and loved it. It’s STRONG even on the lowest setting but after a couple sessions, I was used to it.  It holds about a 2 hour charge. It was nice to be able to do other things if I needed to—like wash bottles or make dinner while I pumped.

I exclusively pumped last year for an entire year and it was hardddd. I recommend a portable pump since mine wasn’t and I was clueless about it until I was almost done. Kudos to you, it’s a great gift to give your baby!

I exclusively pumped with my first for 7 months. It was very hard. I rented a hospital grade pump because pumping 7-8 times a day with the tiny one I got for free was horrible. My doctor prescribed the hospital grade pump as a rental and it was worth every penny. Id see if that’s an option. Get lots of bottles and a second set of pumping parts so it cuts down on cleaning and sanitizing time.
