Leaving my kiddos with a babysitter...

It's the first time. They're 2.5 years old and 11 months. I've left them both only once, and that was with my mom. They've never been left with a babysitter. We interviewed her, and she's very sweet. Both kids will be asleep before we leave, but I'm still so anxious. They both sleep through the night, but still.

How do I get over this anxiety? We do have cameras in the house, but our monitors for the kids aren't WiFi, so I can't just peek at them. We are going on our second date night in a year. It's dinner and a movie. I'm a wreck. I'm a SAHM, and I am always with my kids. I wish it were my mom staying with them, but she lives too far away to come on a week day. 😩🤦‍♀️
