What age did you potty train?

Don’t do it before your child shows you they are ready else you are really going to struggle to teach them or they might develop aversions for the bathroom. I know of a mom who tried at 18m and her kid is 5 years old and still has trouble with it sometimes. He wasn’t ready. Her second born started wanting to use the potty at 2,5years. And within a week he was potty trained.

I wanted to do it early. Then we moved. Then she had a huge reaction to that. Then we haven't had vacation days enough to do it the way we want. Then we wanted to do it at Christmas but I'm pregnant, tired and have an overly active gag reflex 🙃
So unfortunately it'll be no sooner than 35 months and God knows if we get to do it by then 😬

We're starting now at 15 months but that's only because she is always hated having a wet diaper and will bring us a diaper before she pees

Oldest was 2,5 years old and was diaper free within a week or so.
Youngest started himself around 18months old, now at 2yearswears diapers still but goes to the toilet or his potty when we are at home.

I tried out the 3 day Potty training method when mine was 23m but I think they recommend like 21m.
