Gifts and more gifts!

I’ve had it really! My toddler is only 2 and we’re flooded with toys. I am Thankful but it’s too much for her age and unwrapping X-mas was overwhelming for her. I had family asks what they should get her, some of them were at loss because she pretty much has everything. And my husband goes out and gets her 5 things. While I got her only one present and the only one she really had a huge smile and wide eyes. I’ve taken her kids ipad away because she’s glued on it and I angrily told my husband to not ever think about getting her video game next year. Is it tacky to tell family to get either gift cards or money instead of useless toys?!
