How often did/do you wash your newborn?

I wash my baby twice a week. My midwife told me that's fine and babies don't really need to be bathed a lot. Wondering what others do/did.

My girl is 4 months and it’s still only once a week. 
If there is a major blow out or spit up all in her hair, then ya she gets a bath. My girls skin would be miserable if I bathed her more.

When my son was a newborn I bathed him every night. I didn’t use soap on him every night but I did have a routine with him very early. I added a bit of lavender essential oil. It helped a lot with sleeping & I can’t say he was ever a night owl. I believe that the routine of a bath helps with having a calm baby before sleep. I plan to do the same for this baby that’s in the oven.

We definitely bathed our first born probably 3 or so times a week. Maybe more. The second was probably like for sure once a week, maybe twice. Now this third one here 🤭 is 13 weeks old...I can guarantee he is lucky to get one a week (unless he blows out a diaper lol)

1-2 times a week. Only more if major blowouts happen and there’s no way besides a full bath to clean them up! I’ve had all cold weather babies so their skin easily dried up
