Diarrhea

My soon to be 5 month old has for the past three days had green, yellow, seedy diarrhea. I'm not concerned about dehydration though because he's been very active and has plenty of wet diapers. I read somewhere that teething could cause this due to the excessive drooling but I'm not sure. Is it possible? His appetite has increased and he's both breast fed and formula fed.

Could teething be causing this? He doesn't seem bothered by this except for how raw his butt is right now.
