One and done advice

I had complications with my som a year ago that pushed me to an emergency c section delivery and that has caused fertility issues. This has been rough since we wanted one more but there is no way for me to conceive and carry.

This being said, any other one and done parents out there willing to offer advice on how best to raise and socialize an only child? He’s in daycare a few hours a week to be able to spend time with other kids (mind you he’s only a year old) and loves his cousins. I just want to make sure he isn’t ever left out.

*also we know there are options for another but at this time we aren’t pursuing them*
