Introducing cows milk?

Question

I nurse my soon to be 11 month old on demand & give formula in a bottle because my supply has dropped since getting pregnant (I’m 4 months pregnant) 
What’s the best way to introduce cows milk? And is it safe to introduce at 11 months? 
I nursed my daughter for two years and just gave her cows milk in a cup starting 15 months. But since I’m barley producing milk and have a baby due in June, I need to try something else!

Has he had any milk products? If so I would just make the switch. I started my first daughter on cow milk before her first bday one time.

My son turned 12 months when I was 17 weeks pregnant. He just weened himself about a week after his birthday. My supply was dropping also and he only fed to sleep. One day he didn’t feed at all to sleep, I thought nothing of it really. Then a few days passed and I realized he was done. I gave it another week or so and then just gave him a cup of whole milk with his dinner one night. Been doing it for the past month now and all seems to be going fine!

I added a few ounces of cows milk to my bm for a days. Then 1/2 it. Then lessened the bm until I was out. It was an easy transition. My son didn’t flinch.

If babe is already on formula and no issues with milk you could go cold turkey and see what happens. My daughter hated cold milk but wouldn't drink it warm from a bottle. So I had to wean her. I’m due in may, and my daughter is 15 months. My midwife suggested to stop nursing by the middle of the second trimester as nipple stimulation can cause you to go into labor. You should be ok to start introducing cows milk, baby will be on table foods by 1 anyway. Maybe be easier to wean now
