Ecv or c section, plz reply
Hello ladies hoping for some replies
I’m being induced at 37 weeks due to gestational diabetes , gestational hypertension.
Baby is Breeched as she has been the entire pregnancy so I’ve been booked for a c-section. However there willing to try evc before c-section the same morning. I’m not sure which breech position or how breech she is 😫. The L&D doctor told me the chances of her turning from breech are slim to none. I’m worried about the pain of them attempting to turn her / the risks being if she doesn’t turn making it an emergency c section. I’ve read into both sides I have two prior vaginal births so I don’t know much about the c-section pain wise but I’m heavily prepared as far as materials go (high wasted underwear, silicone scar sheets, abdominal pillow for after surgery, clothes that sit above c-section mark, ice pack pads , unscented soap/ lotion , A grabber to reach items, things to help aid sleeping since it’ll be uncomfortable, peri bottle to help etc)
I guess my question is given all this information what would you choose? & why. I’m just scared to give it a shot on both aspects but in the end i just want her here safely, my husband claims he’ll help me after c-section he was great with my vaginal births but I worry about him as well having to assist way more if I do get one,
I’m also 0%effaced 0%dilated so I’d have to be induced with bulb if she did turn which would also be a long process . I’m just all confused and need insight
