Can my baby come to my birth?

So I will have a 14 month old when I give birth to my current pregnancy. I don't think they allow kids during the actual delivery but I want to know if she can come visit me after I have given birth she is super attached to me and I can't imagine spending a whole night without her

I had my second June of 2020 and she wasn’t allowed at the hospital at all. The same rules are still in place now bc of covid. I’d check with your hospital but it’s probably not likely

That will be totally dependent on hospital policy. I would call the hospital your delivering at and see what the rules are.

Check with your hospital.. hospital by me are not allowing visitors only support person and they have to be 18 and over. I doubt they will allow children to visit.

Not unless you have a home birth. None of the hospitals around here allow anyone under 18

Our hospitals policy was 18y+ only but they let my 7yo at the time come in. This time around my kids can't come at all and I can only have 2 designated visitors. Fucking Covid policy (which I understand, it just sucks)

My husband wasn’t allowed to leave and get me food or anything. I’m assuming the rules will be the same this time around as well, but I definitely will be looking into the rules.

Most hospitals do not allow children under the age of 12.

I couldn't have anyone under 18 visit. So mine was a no...had to have inlaws watch my 3 year old
