What kind of baby shower did you have?

So, I’m getting a little concerned with the amount of cases. I want to have my baby shower in late February. This is my first kid so I don’t have anything. A lot of my family are vaccinated, but there are a few that are not. I honestly don’t know about some of my friends too. I don’t want to not invite someone based off of vaccination status. I don’t know what to do. 
If you answer the poll, can you explain how you felt about it and if you would do the same again? 
Also if you did any type of virtual, how did you do it and was it still fun? 
What would you do in my situation?

I would 100% do it in person again. People can choose not to come if they felt uncomfortable with being together in person. I wasn’t forcing anyone to come. I’m not living in fear or missing out on spending time with my loved ones over this virus. Life is too short. I have a friend who was paranoid over the virus and didn’t leave the house and stopped seeing her loved ones and her mom dropped dead randomly & it wasn’t even COVID related. She hadn’t seen her mom in person in a year & she regrets every day her decisions leading up to that moment & she’d give anything to have just one more day with her mom. I could never.

Vaccinated or unvaccinated, people can still catch and spread covid regardless of their status so that shouldn’t be a deciding factor anyways. 
We did a small baby shower and broke it into groups. Family came 1-3 and then friends came 3:30-5:30. We explained that people could wear a mask if they felt more comfortable, or just not come.

Didn’t have one with my first baby because it was planned for early April 2020! And then the world shut down just weeks before so we obviously had to cancel 😢 but I’m pregnant with baby #2 in April and we are having an in person sprinkle at the end of February!

I’m planning to do a shower as well in mid-late March. I specifically picked an outdoor venue in hopes to help keep things safer by being outside with the amount of people I have on the invite list. We chose a park and I’m hoping things will have calmed down by then. If not, I will probably do a virtual shower. A friend of mine did hers in the middle of the first wave of the pandemic and it still worked out really well via Zoom.

I'd wait as late as you can. Make registries and an event on Facebook. Give everyone the option of coming and have a table set up just in case anyone wants to just drive by and drop something off.
Let them know they can wear masks and that you'll have sanitizer stations set up.
Most of our family is vaccinated, I really don't think it matters much right now though

I had my baby shower in March 2020 when covid was just starting to really come out and before vaccines were even a thing. A few people didn’t come which I totally respect. Idk I know cases are ramping up but I’d just say if you’re not feeling well or have been around anyone sick please stay home but I’d have it in person. I’m going to a bridal shower this weekend in person and I don’t see it as much different than a baby shower. I am vaccinated and take precautions as much as possible but I also feel like we need a little normal sometimes. I would have your shower
