Pregnancy

I just recently found out I was pregnant on January 6th for the past 2 days when I use the bathroom and wipe there is a small amount of light blood . I haven’t seen an obgyn yet for my first appointment I don’t even know how far along I am yet. I called Friday and the nurse told me that was just fine it’s just my body adjusting to not having a period. Then today I wake up and use the bathroom and it’s bright red ? I’m only in the first trimester im really hoping it’s not a miscarriage
