Hot tub kill sperm?

My husband has been gone the last week and I was so worried he would be gone for ovulation. Looks like we will be good! He’s home tomorrow. 10 months ttc didn’t want to miss a month 😅 he’s been in a hot tub though. Will that kill the sperm? I’ve read it can for up to 3 months

My husband’s PCP told him to just keep the hot tub below 100 degrees.

I think only if there’s issues conceiving related to sperm, they recommend to avoid them. We had a hot tub we used multiple times a week and my husband and I had no issues conceiving. If you haven’t been struggling, I wouldn’t worry about it too much.

Hot tubs can effect a males sperm, but wouldn’t kill them for an entire 3 months. They changed and have new sperm levels every 3 months. But hot tubs or taking hot baths are not recommended especially when TTC.
