How do you deal with “baby fever” ?

I want a baby with my boyfriend but he’s not ready and I don’t want to scare him. We’re in our mid twenties. My mind knows that a baby wouldn’t be good right now cause we’re not living together and I’m in school full time but then there’s a part of me who wants to create something out of love. 😞

The analogy I use is it's like saying I really really want to buy a house, but I cant handle the taxes and insurance, dont want to deal with repairs, but home ownership would be so great so lets go ahead and buy a house. The problem is, all of those things are part of the deal. Having a baby is amazing, but parenthood isnt solely about having the baby. It is just as much about providing the baby with a stable home, financial support, time, energy etc....it's a ton of giving without getting, and can be stressful. It doesnt sound like youre ready for that important part of parenthood quite yet if youre in school, not living together etc. Knowing you want a baby, it would be a good idea to work out steps to reaching your goal as quickly as possible eg the 2 of you talk about goals. Maybe in the meantime get a puppy to feel like you share something together.

Having a baby is like getting a tattoo on your face. Don't do it unless you're 100% committed to the idea of having it for life.

I have baby fever very bad but my fiancé is not ready for a second so I focus my energy in a new hobby. Like right now I’m really into growing out my hair it’s mid back and I’m trying to get it to waistline. So putting all my attention and energy into carrying for my hair helps my need to care for something. 
Seems silly but it works for me.

Yeah I mean you know it’s not right so there is no point telling why it would be such a bad idea at your phase of life. Wanting to “create” is fine but becoming a spent is way more than that  wait till your stable to bring a premeditated child into this world, it’s the logical snd responsible thing to do for the kid ya know? And be grateful your partner is being so proactive and upfront

Okay sweetie, a baby created out of a sperm and an egg, not “love”. Lol
And that little creation will keep you up all night for months, make your life x10 more complicated, and possibly wreak your relationship if you both don’t want a baby 100%. 
It’s super normal to want to have a baby. Majority of women will feel that way many times during their lives. But if you have a option of waiting until a convenient time (ie don’t have a birth control slip up) then you should .
