Gestational Hypertension

I was diagnosed with gestational hypertension.

Tonight my blood pressure was 160/102, my job sent me home. I called the doctor to see what I’m supposed to do. They basically told me to take Benadryl and Tylenol and to lay down. I did that, I still have a headache, and I feel nauseated.

They said they’re inducing me at 37 weeks, I have barley two weeks left until im 37 weeks, they still don’t have an induction date scheduled.

At my appointment (I have them twice a week for AFI’s and NST’s) she said “if by next Thursday, you’re still pregnant we’ll go ahead and schedule an induction day.”

I feel like my issues are being put off. And they almost act like I’m doing this on purpose. I’ve never had any other children or any blood pressure issues prior until now. So obviously I’m worried about my baby and I. But, if almost seems like a burden to be even worried about my own child at this point.
