HCG Blood test results

hey guys ! so about a week ago i had my first blood drawl, my hcg was a 14, three days later i had a second drawl and my levels were 44, my doctor should call tmrw but in the mean time i’m trying to figure out what that means, are they rising enough ? is it likely i just caught it early ? my test lines have gotten so dark i thought everything was going good😩 my period is 10 days late but my period was also a week late last month so i feel like there’s a chance it’s just really early☹️
