When you had your first sxan and How many scan did you have in whole pregnancy

Hi ladies, 
           
       I want to Ask in which week you have your first scan and how many scan total you have in your pregnancy and when ( in which weeks) . I am having one side abdominal pain but my Doctor is not booking my Appoinment before 8 weeks .

First pregnancy I had 2 scans (11 & 20 weeks). Second pregnancy I had 3 scans (9, 20, & 35 weeks).

5 weeks was my first scan because we couldn’t believe it. Then I believe my next scan was 17.5 weeks for anatomy, then elective scan at 28 weeks for pics. The only other time a portable sonogram was used was to check baby position at 36-37 weeks, and that was only really to look at baby’s head.

We are offered scans at 12 and 20 weeks here.
Unless you're high risk for some reason that's all you get. You can go pay for a private one.

My OB does scans at 8, 12,16,and 20 weeks.

I had 12 scans so far and the first one was around 6 weeks. I am now 35w and I will have a scan a week from now on. So around 4 more scans.

My ob does 8 12 16 20 32 for regular patients. I’m high risk so with each pregnancy after I hit 32 weeks I go every 2 weeks fir ultrasound and nst. It make the time go by faster as well.

Was supposed to only have two ( a dating one and an anatomy one approximately 10 and 20 weeks)
I ended up having more because babies heart rate was weird and she was measuring big.

Around 2-3 is normal.
I had a viability scan (that is used to confirm you are pregnant) at 8 weeks. I got NT scan at 12, anatomy one at 20.
And as my son was overdue, then they did a scan at 41 weeks to check his fluids etc to see if all is well and how soon an induction is needed.

My OB does appointments early, between six to eight weeks. Eight weeks is normal, and it’s usually just a scan to make sure there’s a baby with a heartbeat. Then they usually do a scan at 12-13 weeks to check for defects, and an anatomy scan to measure everything at 20 weeks ish. I had at least 6 scans with both my pregnancies but only because I had placenta issues. 3 is normal.
