How long does it usually take for tattoo artists to respond?

Ive had 4 tattoos before but this was before the pandemic so I had in person consultations. I messaged a tattoo artist early today and he hasn’t responded yet, Is it normal for it to take a while to get a response? I suppose I’m just worrying he rejected my idea

Maybe he had quite a few clients in and hasn’t got the chance to respond

Some of them won’t respond via social media. If it says he does tho I’d give him a couple of days. These guys basically work 24/7 between sketching and actually tattooing.
