Cradle cap HELP!

My son is almost 11 months old and has had really awful cradle cap since 3 months old. It’s so bad! Flaky, itchy, chunks of skin everywhere. I feel like I’ve tried everything: baby oil, coconut oil, all the shampoos, brushes, combs, and scrubbers. Help! I can’t believe he hasn’t grown out of this yet and I don’t know what else to do. The peds recommended selson blue, but I’d really like to keep it natural. Note: my son has moderate eczema and unfortunately can’t be bathed every day ☹️

I used baby oil when my daughter had cradle cap. A friend recommended I try it and it worked. A little on the scalp, wait a few seconds to let it soak in a bit and then gently comb it out.

So I wash my sons hair and then I use the cradle cap scrubber. I had to start putting a pea sized drop of my conditioner (in the recommended) in his hair after bath time. I only bathe him 1-3 times a week. Then I started to use my husbands comb to actually brush his hair. I would rub his hair with the towel to loosen everything, then comb it in all directions. Not to intentionally pick any cradle cap up, but to loosen it. Now it’s not that bad at all!

It could be the result of his eczema, it may not all be cradle cap and if he has eczema he probably has sensitive skin and putting all these different things on his head may be irritating it
