8 day period

I'm on day 8 of my period. First period since having my baby but I also have a pimple near my area that has been bleeding for a full day now...not sure if it's bleeding or if it just bleeds bc im pushing on it bc I can't see it obviously...but the 8 day period has me worried to so wondering when I should call...im assuming Monday if my period hasn't stopped by then. Anyone else having a long or had a long first period?
