I’m having a boy and just curious as to how many others think this. I’m the type of person that really cares what others think and need to get thicker skin.

I let it get to me that I’m using the “gender norms”… I don’t even remember everything that was said but like low key making me feel bad for wanting a white, cream, light blue nursery. I like light blue and I like light pink and if I had a girl I would have done things “girly”.

I feel like I shouldn’t show how excited I am about finding out the sex, this is my first and we want more so we didn’t mind, we’re just excited. Then there is all this “why are you so excited about telling everyone your baby has a penis or vagina”. Anyway, sorry, this is just the jist of it.
